7-day beginner guitar practice plan
This plan gives new players a simple week of practice using GuitarAdda song pages, the tuner, the metronome, and a small set of useful chord skills.
Days 1-2: tune and change chords
Use the tuner first, then practice two-chord loops for G, C, D, Em, and Am. Keep every session short enough that your hand stays relaxed.
Days 3-5: add rhythm
Choose one easy Hindi or Bollywood song. Play the main progression with downstrokes, then try a simple D D U U D U pattern at a slow tempo.
Days 6-7: connect the song
Use the metronome for one clean pass, then try humming the melody while playing. End the week by choosing a second song with similar chords.
FAQs
Can I learn guitar in seven days?
You can build a useful start in seven days. The goal is steady tuning, basic chord changes, and one playable song section.
How many songs should I learn at once?
One or two songs are enough at the start. Too many songs can slow down chord-change progress.
Should I practice with a metronome every day?
Use it briefly after the chords feel familiar. The metronome is most useful when it improves timing without making you tense.
